Glory or Dishonour 2012 March 10 & 11 And Impression March 2012 saw the fourth edition of Glory or Dishonour. Our annual WAB event with contestants from England, Belgium, Germany, France and the Netherlands. This year we had three tournaments run simultaneously. One concentrating on the Ancient period another on the Dark Ages and, for the first time, one set in the late medieval period. We had 20 people attending. (Medieval foot soldiers) Both tournaments consisted of four games. In the end the highest scoring player would be declared victor in his or her tournament. (Games in progress) Jasper, Christie and Guy from Ancient Warfare, Medieval Warfare and Wargames, Soldier and Strategy magazines, were kind enough to bring their booth and show us new issues of their magazines and sell discounted issues/subscriptions. A special welcome to our sponsors and friends from Gripping Beast, Comitatus figures and Ancient Warfare magazine! (Dark Age Warlords) Playing Warhammer Ancient Battles is a lot of fun. We want to reward the people that excel in one or more of the following important aspects of the hobby. But having a good time is always more important than winning. That will be an important part of this weekend. (Thumbs up!) On Sunday, after the last battle, we will claim a few minutes to honour the winners and hand of their prizes.
